Searching for free family tree information?

Browse our site for family heritage information that might give clues to your own ancestors. This site features family trees, records, and stories; you never know what family history information you may find about your own ancestors!

Welcome to our free family history site, where we're on an expedition to discover the many branches of our family tree.
The fruits of my genealogy research will be posted on this website. There may be distant cousins out there, who are on a similar journey, and hopefully some of my information will provide them with a necessary key, or maybe they can offer me something that I have been looking for.
But I’m not alone on this journey.  Other members of my family began this trip before me, and without their work, I would never have traveled as far as I have. There was my Uncle Gene, who wisely gathered together stories and genealogy lines.  He is no longer with us, yet I am continually thankful for the information he passed onto the family.  There is my mother’s cousin, Virgina, who continues to be the tireless caretaker of the Bakken line. My husband’s Aunt Donna is the keeper of the Holmes branch of our family tree. And while I never personally met our distant Canadian cousin, the late Elaine Kirkham, I treasure her book Our Clint Family, published in 1996.
Names, dates and places included on this website are a continual work in progress.  Use the information as clues in your own exploration. Yet remember, when you find any such genealogy data online, it is always subject to inaccuracy. Should you believe any of our information is incorrect, we urge you to contact us.  Or if you have information that might help us discover a new branch to our family tree, or verify a questionable branch, please let us know!
Should you embark on your own safari….happy hunting!

Bishop California Cemetery

Line Street Cemetery, Bishop California

A number of years ago my husband and I visited the cemetery in Bishop, California, to visit the gravesite of my sister's father-in-law, who passed away in 1993. While there, I took photographs of about 100 or so markers. The images have been sitting on my computer. I decided to post them on my genealogy website, as they may help fellow genealogy enthusiasts find clues they've been looking for. I apologize for a few, as I should have paid closer attention to get the entire marker. But, I decided to include all the images I took, even those that don't show the entire headstone.
